These are a superb Pair of French Burl Walbut Cabinets dating to Circa 1890. The super veneers and excellent construction suggest one of France's top makers. The deep patina of the Walnut, Rosewood framing, Boxwood and Ebony stringing give these pieces excellent visual impact. The ormolu mounts and handles are all still present and their condition is excellent. The biege Marble tops really suit these pieces and they are the best pair of French late 19th Century cabinets I have ever had in my shop.
